Dear Sisters,
Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are going to have to postpone our visiting teaching conference, which was scheduled for next Thursday the 22nd. We will reschedule it for January. Meanwhile, there have been some changes and additions to some of our routes and companionships. I will get you the changed information by this Sunday or next Sunday at the latest.
I encourage each of you to be especially mindful of those you teach with and those over whom you have stewardship. Our Father in Heaven counts on us and greatly desires us to do this work. Visiting Teaching is a very important core part of the Gospel. As we try to improve in this work that we have been assigned to do, our testimonies of it will continue to grow, our lives will be personally blessed, and the lives of your sisters and their families will be blessed for the efforts you make in behalf of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
I thank each of you for all that you do and have done. There have been many wonderful gifts of service and tender stewardship given over the past year. I am grateful to so many of you who have stretched yourselves and gone beyond what the Lord requires. Thank-You Thank-You.
As we enter this wonderful season of Gratitude and Thanksgiving and the celebration of the Birth of our Savior, may we reflect upon the things that are important and meaningful in our lives. Especially for the blessings of the gospel and the sisterhood we share in the Hillcrest ward.
Thank- You again for all your efforts, Sisters....
