Tuesday June 21st..

Hello Sisters,

Just wanted to remind you all about our fun filled night we will be having on Tuesday June 21st.

Getting to know you part two...."Getting to Know "ALL" about you!!!

Bring your talents and come and share them. We will be having everything from singing to quilts.

Most of all we would just love your company and getting to know you all better.

So please come and have some good fun, good friends and good food!!

See you there!

P.S. Also mark your Calendars for July 12Th. Our RS evening will be one week earlier in July. It will be our Garden Pot Luck at Susie Balukoff 's.

We will provide the main dish and everyone can sign up to bring a side or dessert if they want. Hope to see you there also

Nov. 1 -- Presidency Message – Lesson is on the Priesthood

Nov. 8 – “Ezra Taft Benson’”– Chapter 21– “Principles of Temporal and Spiritual Welfare”– Page 263

Everything that concerns the economic, social, and spiritual welfare of the human family is and ever will be the concern of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Lord is anxious and wiling to bless His people temporally and spiritually. Let us keep in mind that all material things are but a means to an end, that the end is spiritual, although the Lord is anxious and willing to bless his people temporally. Through energetic, purposeful, unselfish work, we obtain life’s necessities and grow in godly attributes. When we produce and store food, we reap immediate benefits and prepare for future needs. We encourage you to be more self-reliant so that, as the Lord has declared, “notwithstanding the tribulation which shall descend upon you, . . . the church may stand independent above all other creatures beneath the celestial world.” The Lord want us to be independent and self-reliant because these will be days of tribulation. He has warned and forewarned us of the eventuality. . . . Peace and contentment come into our hearts when we save a portion of our earnings and avoid unnecessary debt.

We are happy to be engaged in a partnership with our heavenly father in the great work of the salvation and exaltation of his children. The world is hungry for true religion, and we have it. It is my conviction that the world needs, as it needs no other thing, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the people of the world want what the gospel will give, but they do not realize it. They want the anchor which the gospel provides, which gives them the answers to the problems that face then; that brings them a feeling of security and a feeling of inner peace. The gospel is the only answer to the problems of the world. We can all be missionaries, whatever our circumstances of station in life. As members of the Lord’s Church, we must take missionary work seriously. If you are laboring as you should, if you love this work, you will be helping to save the souls of the children of men. The Book of Mormon is the great standard we are to use in our missionary work. We must not forget that the Lord Himself provided the Book of Mormon as his chief witness. The Book of Mormon is still our most powerful missionary tool. Let us use it. To be successful in missionary work, we must obtain the Spirit , acquire humility, love the people, and work diligently. First, strive to obtain the Spirit. Second, acquire humility. Third, love the people. Fourth, work diligently.

Nov. 21 – Saturday night meeting 7 PM -- Sunday Morning meeting 10 AM—Both meetings well be held at the Stake Center

Nov. 25 -- 5^th Sunday Combined Meeting.
